Welcome to the first edition of the MedRight Review. This news letter will cover details and updates on the MedRight and CareRight systems as well as the Administration Pages. Thank you for choosing CareRight™ Technologies for all your software needs.
What's New
New Features Our new 5XD frequency to allow medication to be given to a resident on a 5 times per day schedule.
A feature has been added to allow ICD9 codes to be added to existing medications on the medication profile for all residents.
We continue to restructure the administration web pages to make them clearer and easier to use on any size computer. We are excited that we have made these web pages more useful and more aesthetically pleasing.
We have added a Resident Status History and separated the residents based on Current residents and Past residents.
ICD9 codes have also been added to the Administration web pages to enter in the codes used to admit the residents into the facility.
New ReportsWe have added several new reports including a Face Sheet, Physician Orders and an Initial Pharmacy report.
New Pharmacy Integrations:In other news we are excited to announce that MedRight now integrates with the FrameworkLTC pharmacy software. We have also started integration with the TCGRx machine. Several clients have signed up to use the eMAR & the TCGRx machine.
We have moved!We have moved our offices to 1525 Industry Drive in Laramie, WY. This is a big move for us and will allow us to continue to grow and service your needs better.

Coming Soon What exciting features are coming up in out new release?
Standing Orders:
The ability to create Standing Orders in the Administration web pages will be in our latest release. This will allow the facilities to create an order for a medication, treatment or procedure for all residents.
Creating orders for Multiple Residents:
The newest feature in MedRight and the Administration web pages is the ability to create medications, treatments and procedures for multiple residents. You are able to specifically select the residents that need the medication and create it for all of them at the same time.

Closing the Application:
How to close the application verses shutting down the machine?
If you are having an issue with the MedRight or CareRight systems please follow the steps below to shut down the application.
Start by contacting the CareRight™ Technologies support pager (307) 745-1722 and let them know about the issue you are experiencing.

Place your curser on the MedRight Application (Figure HH1) and with your mouse, right click. A box should appear, select Close. This will close out the application without shutting down the machine.
Verify the network is connected. On the right hand side of the right click on the Network Connection Icon.
Make sure that both the Enable Networking and the Enable Wireless boxes are checked. Once the network is connected you will see the icon in Figure HH2.

If the Network will not connect check the network buttons located on the machine.
On the Fujitsu machines it is located on the front right hand corner of the machine. Make sure this slid all the way over to the right.
On the HP Tm2 machines it is located on the right hand side of the machine next to the start button. Push the network button to reconnect.
Once you have verified that the network is connected. Select the MedRight or CareRight application button to restart the application.

Laramie Care Center
Laramie Care Center in Laramie, Wyoming, offers skilled nursing care and rehabilitation services in a kind and encouraging environment. This setting is appropriate for individuals who are recovering from surgery or illness, who may require concentrated rehabilitation, or need continuous nursing care. This facility has accommodations for 98 residents.
Laramie Care Center is owned by Five Star Quality Care. Five Star is a healthcare and senior living services provider that operates independent and assisted living facilities, skilled nursing facilities, rehabilitation hospitals, institutional pharmacies and outpatient health rehabilitation clinics throughout 30 states.
This facility was one of our Beta facilities and we still work closely with then today to continue to make improvements to our MedRight and Care Right systems.
